Authentic African Hand Carved Wood Tortoise Shell Gunibri &
Balafon Marimba
Here is a pair beautiful hand crafted wooden African instruments.
A
gourd-resonated xylophone/marimba called a BALAFON, and a wooden GUNIBRI African lute style instrument with a tortoise shell body.
Pulled from the estate of a world wide traveler, with a particular fondness for West Africa.
Balafon measures approx. 20" long x 13" wide x 7" tall. Gunibri measures approx. 25 1/4" long x 5 1/2" wide x 3 1/2" deep.
These is in very good pre-owned condition. Estate found. The Balafon sounds great, with nice tones from the wood. Appears previous owner has done one small repair with a screw. Gunibir is in very good cosmetic condition with little to no wear or blemishes; Just needs strings and pegs. Perfect for display as-is.
