This ATG Plastic Bumper Repair Kit restores tears, scuffs, scratches and holes in your plastic bumper. This Bumper Repair Kit also contains a black Plastic Dye to re-color the repaired area.
Tears, scratches or cracks in the plastic bumper often occur. If you don't pay attention when parking or unparking, it will happen. Such damages are very unsightly and should be repaired quickly. Almost all repair sets come with a welding machine and you will need a power socket nearby.
The ATG Bumper Repair Kit does not require welding equipment or electricity. Repair cracks, scratches, abrasions and smaller holes in the plastic bumper. You don't need any additional tools. Similar to a repair kit for dents, the damaged area is prepared, filled and repaired by sanding the surface. Any color differences (e.g. due to weathering) can be adjusted with the includes plastic dye. This gives your car a new appearance.
An instructions and a product video will help you step by step to repair your bumper. So you can also carry out the repair successfully as an inexperienced person.
How to Repair Your Car's Plastic Bumper:
Clean the damaged area thoroughly with conventional alcohol or methylated spirit.
Put the well kneaded mass into the damaged area and fill it almost evenly. Allow the kneaded plastic to dry for approx. 25 minutes and then sand it flat and smooth with the enclosed sandpaper.
Note: If sanding off the hard plastic is difficult, you can easily improve it with a razor or a sharp blade.
The included Plastic Dye can now be applied to the cleaned areas.
