    Description

    This is a high quality and functional water cooled diffusion pump recovered from a mass spectrometer.  This is large unit made by TM-Vacuum.  The manufacturing company, still in business today, is an American company known for making exceptionally high grade vacuum products.
    Used with an appropriate roughing pump, this unit is perfect for achieving the extremely low pressures required for star mode Farnsworth Fusors or other plasma generators.  The unit is fit to operate off of standard line voltage (120 volts @ 60Hz) for up to 1800 watts.  As shown, it comes equipped with a twist plug and the electrical housing is easy to access if you wish to have customized switches or controls if desired.
    Compare this to similar units which when new run for over 5000$.   Seldom does one find affordable equipment as good as this. I make no apologies for the asking price.  Fusors can be run by smaller pumps, but if you want a high quality demonstration then invest in equipment as good as this.
