Sometimes it can also make the djembe unplayable, depending on the degree of the damage.

This djembe head cover is made of thick African bogolan, also known as mud cloth. Two layers of thick cloth and protective padding offers a high duty protection for traditional djembe drums. To know your drums size, measure it head from end to end to get the total outside diameter. Available in single size this head cover will fit any drum with the head size of 12-14 inches.
