Description
Dissolved oxygen sensor with an embedded EOM (Electro Optic Module) and embedded temperature and pressure sensors for monitoring of oxygen in both gaseous and aqueous environments. The outer diameter of its stainless-steel probe is 5/8" (15.875 mm) and it is 10" (25.4 cm) long. This fluorescence quenching based fiber optics sensor is biocompatible and can be used to monitor dissolved oxygen in biological environments, as well as dissolved oxygen monitoring in wastewater treatment. The sensor patch (zero drift-AP series) held in place by a screw-on cap and it has a
white acrylic overcoating
to enhance the reflected signal, with a response time of about 1 min. The sensor cap can be replaced with another cap or a fiber optic probe.
The DOPO2 connects to a PC via USB connection and can be configured with single-channel LED excitation and detection, and modulation frequencies up to 31.2 kHz. The on-board pressure transducer and thermistor measure atmospheric pressure and sample temperature. Sensor cap is rated up to 55 bar pressure.
Applications:
- Waste water treatment
- Marine Science
- in-line measurement of oxygen in food and beverage packaging
- life science, biological, biochemical, and biomedical process monitoring
- Dissolved oxygen monitoring in power plants
DOPO2 Viewer Software and standard factory calibration is included.
