The "Fish Tailer" (Patent Pending) is an apparatus for securing fish caught on rod/reel by the tail which is helpful in controlling, securing, and landing large fish such as Shark or Sturgeon while you remove the hook from the mouth and take measurements. Once secured, the fish can be held beside the vessel, taken to shore or brought onboard for hook removal and measured for retention or released unharmed.
