High Button Shoes child Antique Victorian style 1900s Canvas Safe Step boots

ITEM:  One pair of child size, antique, high button shoes made of cream colored canvas. The buttons are glass, similar to milk glass. The soles are, I believe, leather and are factory marked as "Safe Step" in a rectangle. The size is not marked anywhere but the soles measure 6 and 1/2 inches from heel to toe, which is, on a current size chart, about a size 6 child. I cannot pin down their exact age because the style was worn for decades. Because of the Safe Step factory mark on the bottoms, I am guessing they are from the early 1900s. They have been stored for many years, obviously. At some point, someone stuffed the insides with paper to help the high tops keep their shape. The shoes have a lot of discoloration but seem to be sturdy for their age.  Please read condition below.
CONDITION: Aged and stained, I do not know how effectively they can be cleaned. All buttons intact and secure. Some wear to bottom of soles. Stitch holes to the fabric in direct correlation to the row of buttons. I am not sure what these are from, if they are from. I suspect there was a second row of buttons or decorative trim that was removed.
