  • Condition: This Vintage PROTO #1429 Long Pick Pecking Body Hammer has a 4-1/2" long pick on one end and a 3/4" Ball Head on the other end. The head measures 8-3/4" wide. The head is in EXCELLENT condition. It is painted black with "PROTO 1429" stamped on one side and "MFD USA" stamped on the other side. It appears that the handle is not original, as the original PROTO handle was 16" or 17" long. The handle on this hammer is 13" long and is stamped "Blue Point BPH-15. It is in very good condition, with no cracks and one small nick one one side just below the head. We have not cleaned or refurbished this hammer in any manner, as we leave those decisions up to the eventual buyer. There are no previous owner's names or ID markings on this tool.

    This Vintage PROTO #1429 Long Pick Pecking Body Hammer has a 4-1/2" long pick on one end and a 3/4" Ball Head on the other end.  The head measures 8-3/4" wide.
